Beautiful home stay, kind, caring host

Although truth be told the actual room we picked to stay in was the budget room and a little dark in the afternoon, the room was very clean and had LED lights that did brighten up over time. Our host was so kind and gracious and offered tips on local attractions and times to go / etc. Her English was not too strong. I was fortunate to be traveling with a local. I found her to be very kind. We visited some beautiful sights while there, including the nearby stream, cafes, nearby Locarno, and the Madonna del Sasso. The B&B was wonderful in that our room had wifi, a desk, bed lamps, storage space, a mini fridge, 2 waters, coffee maker (individual servings of espresso or lattes), some fruit and small biscuit/chocolate bars. The bathroom with shower was separate from the room, which I found to be quite nice to give space/privacy. The place is quite impressive, a stone home. Very beautiful. The local gardens, streets and sights are absolutely a delight for this american --- so scenic, full of history, life and beauty. I highly recommend!

Family holiday

Very kind and helpful host. Unfortunately it was very hot and without air conditioning in the evening it was difficult to sleep due to the heat. Room without TV. For the rest, spacious room, comfortable mattresses, very good hygiene and cleanliness.

Absolutely perfect!

The location is absolutely stunning! Lots of option for walking and very close to the town around. The public transport was great and more as we had included the Ticino card which includes all the fares for public transport.

Great location for a weekend getaway

Just a short train ride out of Locarno, this was a lovely quiet place to spend the night. Great atmosphere, beautiful garden and comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Breakfast was simple (fruit, museli bar, gipfeli) but tasty.

Very loud bells 24/7

We had the top floor.
The location is really great to explore the area. The view is beautiful.
The kitchen is well equipped.
The rooms are really ok.
The owner even did our laundry.
BUT... If you are sensitive to noise, please consider
1. that the church-bell is practically on top of you, and it rings 3 times an hour day and night
2. The restaurant on the ground floor garden is very active so you hear all conversations of guests, also when something burns the smell is in the room.
3. The road and train are also very close and noisy.
