If you're trekking to Machu Picchu, you'll pass a bit hydro electric power station. It's a train station and a small break area on the way to Aguas Calientes. It takes about 3 hours to walk to Aguas Calientes from here. Just follow the train track, and it will lead you there. You can see this power station from Machu Picchu.
