Este lugar ha sido en Escondido desde hace mucho tiempo y por lo general hay que esperar para entrar en la puerta. Me gusta la pizza blanca la mejor, y la cantidad de queso que ponen en que es una locura! Las ensaladas son simplemente bien, un montón de lechuga iceberg. Mi marido le gustan los espaguetis y albóndigas el mejor. Las porciones enormes, sin duda pueden compartir una comida aquí.
Al igual que los anillos de espuma de Peterson, Felipes es también un icono en Escondido. Hemos estado comiendo allí desde la década de 1970. Va a encontrar grandes porciones de comida deliciosa a un buen precio. Este restaurante informal es muy concurrida los fines de semana así que venga temprano o prepárate para esperar. NO pedir queso extra en su pizza. Ellos ya pusieron en una tonelada y más y usted se sentirá enfermo! Además de una pizza y ensaladas, nos encanta su queso parmesano de berenjena. (Si usted es capaz de visitar durante la "Gran crucero"-abril a través de septiembre- deberá llegar antes de las 4:30 los viernes por la noche a comer sin tener que esperar!).
I've been going to this restaurant since 1970s. It still looks the same inside. If you love cheesy pizza, this is for you. The bread is amazing, the lasagna and spaghetti excellent.
Filippi's has been making a top quality pizza and pastas for generations. A nice place to celebrate with young and old. The old-style pizza, once tried, will likely become your favorite. There is often a line, but it is worth the wait.
This place is an iconic local pizzaria. I have been going with my family for years. You must be a cheese lover tho, they load on the cheese, so much so you need a knife and fork to eat it. I love their authentic pizza sauce and the toppings which they put under the cheese. Their torpedo sandwiches are to die for, big the big savory meatballs in the crispy fresh bread, covered in authentic marinara sauce. This place is a delicious small family run restaurant that is known for it's authentic quality ingredients and hospitality.
Delicious oven baked pizza, with so much gooey cheese you'll drool. Their bread is also surprisingly amazing: crispy on the outside and soft and thick on the inside. Plus it's a great ambience with a pub style feel right on the streets of downtown Escondido. I loved it!
Oh my gosh. I had my first taste of really really great pizza here. Well, not here. It was at my friend's birthday party.
I love the crust. Just the right amount of thickness. I've never been a fan of thin crust--which I think tastes like a cracker. No thanks.
I love the sauce. I wish there was more sauce because it's so good. Ummm...maybe not. Maybe that's why I like it, not too much sauce.
The cheese was unreal. I've never tasted such good cheese on a pizza.
My favorite topping? The mushrooms. Yummy yummy yummy.
There is nothing fancy here. Just delicious simplicity.
