This is a serene space to be entered with lots of love! The whole mood of the hotel puts me in a calm ready-to-create state of mind. It is just wonderful! I love it! There’s an attention to detail in every single corner. The scent, the soap, the choice of music, the high ceilings of the rooms, the marble bathroom. It’s the perfect place to meditate and get a lot of work done. The extra gem is that they host exhibitions on the -1 floor and you might be up for some nice surprises. The hotel is just perfect with spacious rooms, good internet connection and the uncomparable location at the heart of Taksim near the tunel. I highly recommend it for the spiritual amongst you, the trendsters, the artsy and to anyone who can afford it.
I love the décor of Adahan Istanbul! The hotel is built in an old apartment block and, as is traditional, there are wonderful marble staircases and beautiful features everywhere. What I love is that they’ve kept the original features but they haven’t restored them to look like new, instead they’ve kind of restored the building around these features. It’s modern and stylish but at the same time you can feel the wear and tear of years of habitation. I’ve never seen anything like it and I totally loved it. The locations is excellent, near the hustle and bustle of fish restaurants and bars in Istanbul, it’s nevertheless on a fairly quiet street (or as quite as Istanbul gets!)
A gorgeous hotel in the middle of Beyoğlu, a few steps away from Istiklal Caddesi and the waterfront. The managing family have lovingly refurbished the hotel from its origins as a 19th century townhouse owned by a Sephardic Jewish banking family. The hotel has elegant white rooms, modern amenities and bathrooms, extremely attentive service, and an incredible rooftop terrace where you can eat a delicious breakfast while overlooking the city and the nearby Galata Tower.
