Hotel Uyan

The staff and management of this hotel have really created something special that will live long in our memory after we have left. Refined, classy, and charming, at times it was difficult to tear away from the warm comfortable room into the cold and wet outdoors. We were greeted by the local cat upon arrival, which surely set the tone for the lovely experience. The interior is more classical than modern, with plenty of wooden furniture and elegant wallpaper. The facilities however are squeaky clean and in perfect order. Others things to note are the central location right next to Sultanahmet square, as well as the all-around perfect service. The perfect ambience more than compensates for lack of a swimming pool or fitness center: for that, you should look at a completely different type of hotel. This is a boutique hotel in every sense of the word.
