Usted no será decepcionado.

The center is the world's largest outdoor mall. The location is quite convenient, right in Waikiki in the middle of all of the bustle. There are lots of restaurants and shops to visit. Definitely make a stop at Honolulu Cookie Company to taste their samples!

There are many places in Honolulu to put down some cash and pick up some souvenirs, but none are as extensive as Ala Moana Center. Located northwest of Waikiki Beach and roughly 2 miles southeast of the city center, this behemoth open-air shopping center boasts a collection of high-end stores like Chanel and Versace, department store staples like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, and tourist-kitsch shops like 'Auana Quilts and Island Magnets. Its 350-plus shops and restaurants can take as little as an hour or as much as a whole day to explore.

Although some visitors warn that items sold at Ala Moana Center can be quite pricey, many enjoy shopping here. Others rave about the dining options available on-site, especially the Japanese Village food court on the first floor, and say the afternoon hula show cannot be missed.

To reach the mall, you can drive and park for free on-site or take Waikiki Trolley's Pink Line or one of several bus routes. Other amenities available at this attraction include free Wi-Fi access, the Art Walk, restrooms, a post office and visitor information centers. Complimentary hula shows are hosted at the mall's Centerstage from 1 to 1:20 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Hawaiian musical performances are free to watch in the Ewa Wing every day between 5 and 6 p.m. Ala Moana Center is open from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with reduced hours on Sundays. Check out the property's official website to better plan your shopping excursion.

The place to shop in Honolulu - anchor stores include Neiman Marcus, Macy's and Bloomingdales. Many luxury brands have shops here, and the typical stores you'd find in most malls in America. But there are also local shops - Hawaiian store Hilo Hatties for example - and a fantastic food court. The mall is huge, and parking can be confusing, but it's worth at least one stop on your trip. Visited by locals and tourists alike. There's also a fantastic new Foodland there that was upscale - it felt like I was in a Whole Foods.

Huge shopping center with every single store you can think of!
The best thing here is everyone is so nice! Including sales people at Chanel, LV, and Prada.

Sales tax and some handbags are lower in Hawaii. So if you've been eye-ing that designer bag and visiting, it's the best time to buy.

The world's largest outdoor mall! Enjoy a wide variety of shopping with everything from local surf shops to high end luxury brands. This beautiful shopping center has something for everyone. There are also a lot of food options, including The Mai Tai Bar a local favorite with live music. Visit the Center Stage for hula shows and other entertainment. There is a post office inside the mall and many banks in the area for your convenience.

This seems like the main shopping mall to go to in Honolulu. It's probably the place I'd shop in all the time if I lived here. They have a Papyrus, which is a good place for greeting cards and gifts. Also, the food courts have a diversity of cuisines.

Used to be come here almost daily after school and also since it was only about 10 minutes away from where I lived. One of the largest outdoor malls in america and its still expanding! Stores range from lower end to luxury brands. A day is definitely not enough time to see everything! The food court is not what you'd typically expect and is actually really yummy!

The largest outdoor shopping mall in the US. The food court is not to be missed with choices for everyone. Shopping offers everything from Neiman Marcus to local knick knack shops. If you like to shop, you'll think you died and went to heaven.

This mall keeps getting bigger and better! I used to live 15 minutes away from the mall, so this was my go-to mall. I spent a lot of time with my mom here for sure. The food court and Shirokiya were our favorite places to dine. You would really get a great work out if you were to shop here, but it's so fun! There are plenty of cool stores ranging from Long's Drugs to Chanel and Louis Vuitton. There are also a lot of nice lounges and restaurants upstairs now. It's one of the best malls that I've been to, and I don't think I'm biased because it's a childhood favorite. The outdoor appeal is fun and the layout is simple and easy to maneuver.

Looking for some shopping, drinking and u.s postal? Ala Moana Center basically has everything. This mall has shopping departments, a food court, phone service, markets, restaurants, bars and clubs. We walked here on our third day of visit. This place is HUGE. You can definitely spend a day or two here. We came here early in the morning one day, because boyfriend had to mail out some things. There was a huge line during the Winter. People were mailing out presents to their love ones and friends. We had a starbucks fixed since it was right next to the U.S postal. We loved the food court the most because there are all kind of food to eat. Especially Ramens. There are all different kind of Ramen stands. It was really hard to decide which Ramen stand we wanted because there were a few. You can shop for bento boxes, sushi, snacks or riceballs and sit at the food court to eat BUT it gets packed during lunch and dinner time, so be prepared and go early.

Recommend tourist to come here. :)

Btw, price varies at this mall. Some stores are expensive and some stores are like 'sale' prices. good luck and enjoy!

There are plenty of shops to choose from at the Ala Moana Center from Amani to Billabong and you can catch a bus from in town for $2. If you have too much shopping though there is always a taxi to get you back home.

There are two reasons why we call Ala Moana, "Hawaii's Center." 1.) It's hands-down the best and most beautiful mall you'll ever come across, and 2.) because, dagnabbit, the commercials tell us to. Multiple stories, newly renovated with every conceivable store you can imagine, create an expansive and open-ended experience. Unlike other large malls, you won't be overburdened by an enclosed echo, but rather be surrounded by lots of natural beauty from koi to greenery.

Ala Moana also has a great food court. If you've ever tried Yummy Korean BBQ, you would understand my mad love for it. And, so far as I've tried, this Yummy shines as the brightest of all. Grab a box to go, and head over to Ala Moana Beach Park across the street for a sunset picnic. Other great restaurants within the mall include Alan Wong's Pineapple Room (in Macy's) and Mariposa (in Neiman Marcus, complete with an ocean view).

I feel like this mall grew up as I did: Sharper Image changed locations three times, Liberty House sold itself to Macy's, and new floors and flights stretched the mall ever-closer to the sky.

Thankfully some things remain the same. During Christmas, a huge tree serves as a starting point for the kiddy train that shuttles around the mall, circling Centerstage where they host a nightly Christmas musical.

"Hawaii's Center," indeed.

If you can't find the merchandise you're looking for in this behemoth there's a chance it doesn't exist. Usually pretty easy to find a parking spot even though the mall is typically packed -- but it can be a maze trying to weave your way out. Ewa (west) end is undergoing major renovations.
