Vale la pena una visita. Fantásticas vistas de Lisboa.
Il Castello di San Giorgio si trova in cima alla collina più alta di Lisbona. Sede di battaglie importanti nell'epoca delle Crociate, è stato anche per un tempo Palazzo Reale. Fu dedicato a San Giorgio quando il Re Govanni I sposò la principessa inglese Filippa di Lancaster.
overlooks Lisbon. moorish influenced. a bit overhyped. the view is spectacular but I don't know if it can compensate for the expensive tickets. there are places to sit in the shade which is nice but there really isn't much to see of the castle itself.
What's left of this moorish castle are the walls and the towers but i suggest to buy the ticket(7€) as there's an amazing view of Lisbon and the Tejo river from here.
The Castle of São Jorge is a magical place full of history
