A wonderful place - full of great restaurants, shops and within walking distance of Soho, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Also the home of the Royal Opera House and next to all the London theatres.

Central of London. So accessible from the house it's an easy as for the bars, restaurants and general experience of a Georgian centre and modern street arts scene. Straight up the Northern line to Leicester Square (pronounced Lester). See Leicester Square review. Always packed though hence a four star. If you have never been though you have to go.

I could never entirely see the charm, but most visitors whom I've taken there (usually in route to something else) liked it. Can be very crowded on weekends and pricey.

I love Covent Garden so much. So many pubs, restaurants and shops along with the street entertainers. I cannot recomment this place enough.

Nothing special, just a bunch of shops, but it is a major tourist attraction.

This is a trip down on the train from Audley End station, getting off at Tottenham Hale station and transferring to the tube but it's the ballet, its the opera , it's the restaurants , its the street theatre and of course it's LONDON

My most favorite neighborhoods in London. Covent Garden is a dream for shopoholics as well as foodies. The Long Acre street that takes you from the Underground station towards Leicester Square is lined with chic boutiques and brands. This has been a luxury part of London since the Victorian era and it doesn't look like it is tired of its reputation.

Interesting and busy streets with small boutiques mixed with larger corporation stores. Good for shopping as well as a small lunch or dinner. There are plenty to choose from for foodies and you'd easily be able to find something that suits your taste.

With plenty of shops to visit, what makes Covent Garden more exciting is the vast array of street performers who keep crowds entertained hours on end.

It's a very nice spot of food, entertainment, and shopping! You can sit in the courtyard and there're always performers singing, playing instruments, or acting! It's very fascinating to see these differences in culture.

This may not make your list of sites to see on your first visit to London, but if you have some extra time, take a stroll through Covent Garden.

It's housed in a very cool glass building that has a lot of charm, although a lot of the stores are just chain shops, so it makes this place less interesting and also a but more pricey. There's a market that takes place on Sundays though.

It's a lively spot with lots of street performers and foot traffic. It's a great spot for people watching and a fun area to walk around in. The opera is housed here too.

Also, most interesting, there's a Shake Shack, so get your tasty burgers and Concrete Shakes there for a taste of NYC in London.

Covent Garden is a historical market that has been since renovated with shops and restaurants. It's a great place to stroll around, shop, and grab a bite to eat. There are even various street performers daily who are extremely talented and entertaining.

Eliza Doolittle's old stomping grounds, if she wasn't a fictional character. Neverthless, there are flower stands, there are theaters and this is where the theatre goers spill out after the show in West End. We did catch "My Fair Lady" and had pre theatre dinner in this area.
