Gran restaurante familiar y ejecutar "agujero en la pared" para obtener su comida hawaiana fijar en. muy generosas porciones! Los platos a la brasa, salteado, y spam musubi son de primera clase!

Pretty good hawaiian breakfast/brunch place. They're super popular on the weekends, even for take out. They even have their own "wait for take out" area with chairs on the sidewalk. A bit strange, but the service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious!

Breakfast and lunch with a distinctly Hawaiian and casual flavor. French Toast, scrambles, and Portuguese sausage plus much more to be found here.

Finally back on that yelp game after some out of the country!

Came here with a couple of coworkers one weekday evening after our original plans fell through. My friend raved about this place as did the yelpers, so I started off with uncharacteristically high expectations. Never a good thing. The restaurant itself is clearly a bit of a hole in the wall mom and pop joint, and it was packed despite it being a weekday.

I've been to Hawaii before and was excited to try the Hawaiian bbq. My coworkers ordered spam and loco moco, but since I don't eat pork my options were a bit limited.

I do have to say that the portions are quite generous. I ordered the regular but could have easily filled up on the junior. However, in terms of actual flavor, I was very disappointed. Perhaps it was what I ordered, but I found the bowl to be very bland - to the point where I was dousing the whole thing with teriyaki sauce just to get some flavor. I admit that the chicken itself was well cooked in terms of texture, but the flavor was just completely lacking.

My coworkers loved their dishes, so again, it might have been what I ordered. Either way, I've had much better bbq at other places, and given the somewhat limited non-pork options on this menu, I likely won't return.

This place is awesome! i have come here a few times. i moved to my new place very close to here, and i am glad this place is around.

The place isn't huge, and doesn't look terribly fancy from the outside, but the service and food make up for it.

i ordered the combo plate with everything. it came with rice, the macaroni, and the meat. the portions were super hefty. the guys seating us was really cool. we sat outside, but as soon as an inside spot opened up, he immediately came out and told us about it.

some friends ordered the royal king combo plate. portions were crazy big! (that's what she said? tough stretch...) it was great! good portions of meat with egg, and all the fixins. i aint gonna lie, i had a big sample. Walter didnt mind.

Friends loved the place. food was flavorful. staff was friendly, except for the lady who brought the check. she was like just the front part of a mullet; just business. she wasn't rude. Just straight to the point.

I'll be back, especially after a night of good times. great, since this place is walking distance! even if it wasnt, its still awesome!

the vibe is extremely casual. very very comfortable.

one weird thing is that there seems to be a house or apartment right next door, but further back. Once you see it, you will see why its a little strange. but doesnt bother me at all.

Yummmm, it's a hole-in-the-wall Hawaiian cafe. I used to walk over from where I was living, which was so convenient because parking can be a pain...Original Hawaiian Royale! spam spam spam!!!! You can split it with a friend too, it's a lot of food.

One word - royale. A giant dish of Hawaiian-style "fried rice" prepared with one, two, or three of their succulent meat choices served up by a friendly waitress in a restaurant that's reminiscent of the Hukilau Cafe in 50 First Dates... sounds like the perfect Sunday brunch to me! My favorite is the fried royale with kalua pork. It's juicy and tender and perfect with the copious amounts of bean sprouts and fried egg strips. The prices can't be beat. I'll order a "regular" (2 scoops of rice) for about $7 and it will feed me for two meals. They also come in "junior" (1 scoop) and "king" (3 scoops). Don't forget to ask for a Hawaiian roll, and if you have room for it, grab an order of haupia for dessert! Aloha!

Great food! I mostly get the loco moco. King size here means king size. You get 3 eggs and a ton of rice, but its still a great value. The gravy is chunky, the hamburger steaks are large and there is plenty of rice and macaroni salad. Highly recommend visit this place for some comfort food!

This place is Hawaiian soul food. Fair prices, large portions, and a happy homey atmosphere. I've never left here not feeling happy.

If you're looking for a true Hawaiian/Local cafe feel, this is the place to go!! It's a bit difficult to spot from the street, but this hole-in-the-wall spot has been one of the few places I have encountered that truly delivers "local kine grindz" as we call it in Hawai'i. This place houses one of the best Loco Moco's I have tasted so far in LA and will be sure to be coming back for more!
