Sam Doo

One of the best Chinese restaurants we have eaten at outside of China. It is authentic Chinese cuisine with our favorite being the hot pot. The prices are very low and the food is of good quality. The service can get a little slow when they are busy, but that is to be expected!

Sam Doo is a dim sum restaurant, with really great things to try. Specially good if you go with friends and try a little bit of everything, is normal to order up to 5 plates each as dim sum are meant to be shared and eaten in nice quantities. Good food and affordable price.

Sam Doo is not a bad dim sum restaurant in Phnom Penh. The problem with the food scene is Phnom Penh is that anytime there's non-Khmer (Cambodian) food in town, everyone raves about it because it's different. Different doesn't necessarily mean it's good. Having said that, the dim sum is very affordable and it's not bad. It's just not great.
