Lula Cocina Mexicana

I love to sit in their garden patio which you can't see from the street just walking. They have very tasty Mexican food and I especially like going for their Happy hour.

The queso fundito was amazing.

I had the Mexi-Melon to drink and it was very tasty. A little heavy on the tequila but I am not complaining I am complimenting. It was a refreshing change from a margarita in the rocks.

And then we ordered the Lula nachos with chicken. This was plenty to share with at least two others for a meal.

This is a very cute place to eat. There is a patio in the back and is decorated appropriately.

Service is fast and friendly. The host was great and played along with my antics.

Great happy specials too. But that is only for the bar area.

Yes, its an amazing Mexican restaurant with a great happy hour, but the breakfasts are their little known secret. Watch out, they don't open until 11am though.

Really crowded and popular spot in Santa Monica primarily because they have happy hour during the day on Saturday! If you don't mind the wait this spot has great mexican food and yummy margaritas after a long day at the beach
