Excellent location close to shops, eateries, airport and cruise pier.

Too bad hotel because it could be excellent. The potential has. Money needed for maintenance and upgrade
I have stayed many times at this hotel. He's got his good and bad stuff. The good, location, treatment, breakfast, large rooms and comfortable beds and good views. Good value for money. Improveable performance of the AA, WiFi signal, needs a comprehensive remodel if it is to be truly a 4-star...

HOTEL FROM HELL!!
HOTEL FROM HELL!! *
After a long-haul flight, we checked in to the hotel at 3:30 pm. The staff whowere unprofessional and looked so unhappy, and were far from friendly, assigned us Room 301.
Room 301: When we entered the room, it was steaming hot. We allowed the air conditioning to run whilst we unpacked and settled in. More than 30 minutes later, it was still like a furnace. The Receptionist sent a handyman up. Another 30-40 minutes later, they could not fix the air-con, so the Receptionist brought another key card up and asked us to move to another room… number 701. We re-packed and dragged our luggage out.
Room 701: We tapped the key card, opened the door, and OMG!! There were bags and people inside!!!!!
Back down to reception we went! They agreed that an upgrade to a bigger room was warranted after what we went through.
5.30pm (2 hours after check-in)
Room 703: it’s a bigger room. The air-conditioning works. Yay! We unpack and settle in (again). Did our nightmare end there? No!! At 6.30pm, we were ready to go out for dinner. Walked out the door, turned around to make sure it was locked, and… the door couldn’t lock from the outside!! Called reception; handyman turns up again. After more than 30 minutes, he couldn’t fix the door.
It’s past 7pm… We’re starving by now. I went down to reception. I asked them what they had against us. 4 hours and 3 rooms later, and we’re still not settled!
They send us to a 4th room - this time room 1103. We checked everything and… the air-conditioning was as hot as the 1st room!
We gave up! It was past 8pm, nearly 5 hours after we first checked in. We stayed in the room, and had a completely sleepless night, sweating like horses.
Last point: Noise level is also very high at this hotel as it is next to a major road - even on the 11th Floor, we could hear cars honking, buses braking, tyres screeching!
Does anyone agree that we deserve a FULL REFUND for our nightmare??!!!
P/S: Agoda said Conte Hotel has bus transfers from the airport. That is not correct! They do not have bus transfers.

Hotel Antigo
The Conte Hotel is located in the heart of Buenos Aires, close to the Obelisk, many restaurants, shops, Carrefour, various sights. The hotel is old, small elevators and like the hotel, old. Room without much toiletry, without fridge, bad internet, simple breakfast. What's really good is the location.

Bad experience!
We booked the hotel through the website, however upon arrival, the two reception lords were not aware of our reservation, they indicated that the website was not operational, although we indicated that the reservation and payment by that means, demonstrating confirmation, lacks warmth in the attention and check in.
With regard to air conditioning, it takes hours to cool and the temperature in the room cannot be controlled.
For breakfast, it is limited, they take too long to replenish food and when they replenish it runs out in minutes. It's chaotic, the juice glasses are too small.
