Beautiful location! Just wish there was cellular service coverage In the rooms. Wifi is strong which is helpful. All people were kind and professional.

Ok

Hotel has new feel in July 2025.
Rooms are large.
Shower is clean and nice.
It is not fancy but maybe nicer than other hotels nearby.
There is a park nearby, and 1 street of downtown that is 1/4 abandoned shops.
Everything shuts down early, so eat before you arrive to town or bring dinner with you.

Hotel was lovely - they've made a lot of improvements since we were there last. A couple of things though - they had a live band when we arrived around 9pm, which normally would be nice but since the lobby/check in area and elevators were in the same area as the bar, and the music was really loud - our baby 7mo old ended up waking up when we arrived. Maybe the music would be better suited on the patio deck, versus the same area as check in for those looking for a quieter arrival. Additionally the pillows could be a little nicer, but overall we had a nice experience and were able to get our baby right back to bed when we got in the room.

Loved it

Loved everything about this hotel! I am a super picky traveler. This place was awesome! It was super clean and very comfortable. The bedding was fluffy and fresh. Everyone was so friendly. It's a charming small town with great, reasonably-priced food nearby. The view was beautiful. The welcome cookies were delicious. It had everything and more that you could want in a hotel. We were traveling through the airport in Albany, and we are so happy that we found this place. We would love to return when we are in the area!

Enjoyed our stay, fantastic view~ right on the Hudson! Very comfortable and clean.
