Modern room without air conditioning

Nice hotel close to Aachen and the Dutch border.
There is no reception, just a check in terminal.
For the entrance door you need a 6 position code, which we had to request by phone.
It all worked great, the check in was easy and straightforward.
The room was clean, modern, large, kitchen with microwave, fridge and cutlery.
What bothered us, however, was that there was no air conditioning, at 32 degrees it became brutally warm, plus no trigger and windows in the bathroom. At night you could open the windows, however our room was right on the main road. We had the choice between warm or loud. With such a modern room actually unnecessary.

Easy overnight stay in modern rooms

We stayed here one night. Easy self-check-in. Modern accommodation. DZ pleasant size. Good sound insulation and sleep quality. Parking right outside the door. But... the cleanliness of the floors and dust on picture frames... needs urgent work. I haven’t written anything like that in hundreds of reviews, but if you go to the bathroom barefoot and come back to bed and then white sheets get very dirty as a result, then action is really needed here.

Hotel without staff, but still easy & flexible check-in and check-out

A whole new experience to book in a hotel without staff. But I am very positively surprised. Easy handling at the check-in terminal, fast & helpful communication by email and a nice interior. The hotel is also recommended for cyclists (good and secure shelter).

Great boarding house in the heart of Übach-Palenberg

Great boarding house in the heart of Übach-Palenberg. Very well equipped, great room, gym, free parking - everything you need! Breakfast baker + beer garden within walking distance.
Really all top!!!

Interesting hotel! There is nobody else than the cleaning staff working in the hotel. The registration is done by self-service. It was a different, but enjoyable experience. Otherwise, the establishment is very clean, ordered, and nicely located. Overall, I recommand the place. A quick note to pay attention on where is located the parking to don't ending up being billed for parking (shared with private owned parking). I recommend the hotel!
