Good place to stay, with on site bike rental. Everything was clean and the service was good and helpful

YOU SHIT!

We stayed in this pseudo 4-star hotel for 8 nights period August 2025: rooms and scruffy and old furniture, broken tiles in the shower, limestone encrusted, partially working toilet flush, broken sheets (we asked to change them, in the evening we found the usual), stained towels. We had breakfast included DO NOT expect the usual breakfast buffet, they will bring you every morning 3 pancakes with single portion butter and jam and orange juice, everything else is for a fee, even a glass of milk! Equipped with mini bar, the hairdryer if you find it in the room you will be lucky! We were 4 people in two rooms and we had to lend it to each other because throughout the hotel there were a dozen that rotated between the rooms! As soon as we arrived we went 24 hours without power, due to a thunderstorm! If you take a hot shower make sure you turn on the tap 5/10 minutes before, it will not be quick to reach the desired water temperature! Any more goodies? The doors of the rooms open even without the keys, just push them! Position isolated from nightlife. Report: IF YOU ARE IN TIME DISCITE AND LOOK FOR MORE!

Bad experience

Experience not to be repeated.
Hotel in a very convenient location: it is located near 5th Avenida, but in the initial part, so away from the liveliest area. Full movement takes at least 25 minutes on foot, while getting to the collective station takes about 30 minutes. In addition, the property is situated in an unpleasant side street, next to abandoned buildings.
The interiors are neglected and poorly maintained. Paint stains are still visible on the doors and on the ground, the floors are in rough stucco (perhaps by stylistic choice, but they still give an impression of dirt). The hot water works at times, the air conditioners are very old and with smelly filters, the towels often pierced. The pool is dirty and poorly maintained: even pigeons are washed there.
Breakfast is not buffet style but served to order, with very long waiting times: definitely uncomfortable if you have excursions in the morning. The offer is monotonous and limited (only eggs in various versions and pancakes). The rooms do not have a hairdryer and reception does not provide it.
The staff, with the exception of a few rare exceptions, is neither welcoming nor helpful, to the point of not even being able to give basic information. Wi-Fi, finally, practically non-existent.
In summary: a bad hotel, which I would not recommend and would not stay in.

Overall I've expected more from "4-star" hotel. The room is veeery basic and minimalistic. I stayed at 4th floor, "under" the cafe. Every morning at 6am they started moving tabels/chairs/something. And it's loud, and made me woke up. Stuff is nice and friendly.

We had a great 2-night stay at Hotel 52. Traveled with teen and pre-teen. Breakfast and pool on the roof was lovely.
