Overall pleasant stay. The LOWEST toilets to the floor ever !! Guests with bad knees or leg issues would have problems. Men's restroom on lobby floor was out of toilet paper. Food served at our event was mediocre (plates were very cold, hamburger buns nearly frozen.

Housekeeping is poor. They are so late cleaning up room. They don’t replace towels daily and even forgot to replace shower curtain they removed. Needless to say, my husband who has memory problem had to shower and pop Breakfast is horrible. It tasted like it’s been fried refried several times. Hard scrambled eggs, hard country fries,hard suasage. Hard to believe, it’s for human consumption!

Awful

No hot water at night. If there’s hot water have jump in and out so the next person can have hot water or have to jump in the shower real early before anyone else in the hotel have time use the hot water. Only 1 elevator was working. Took the stairs.

Horrible experience

I was lied to several times over the safety deposit safe. Big strike number one. Then while I was checking in there was someone who was checking in. They insisted on a $75 security deposit from me only payable by credit card. It began with this other guest paying $1000 in cash then added another thousand dollars. I tried to mind my own business. Besides being lied to about a safe to keep my valuables in. The guest with the $2000 cash was never asked for this security deposit. My question is does this business type hotel get much vandalism to require such a requirement of a security deposit? Strike number two. Next day, I mention that three booking type websites should not indicate that they have safety deposit listed on their sites. This lie kept me from enjoying the indoor swimming pool that I really wanted to use. Strike number three. On my check in day, I checked the swimming pool. When you walk in there is a breezeway entering the pool. That portion is very cold, but when I got into the indoor pool the temperature was not very cold at all and the water was not unbearablely cold at all either. Same on my second day, it was the same. I went to the pool on the third day and the pool area was very cold! Their blaise attitude was totally unacceptable when I asked if they could turn the heat on. They said heat was not possible. Another lie. Strike number four. I never got to use the pool and I held onto my valuables for dear life the entire time I was there. Strike number five. Upon bringing in my luggage the side/back door the door was ajar/open. Being a solo traveler I felt very unsafe. It can happen, I suppose. The second day the same door was ajar again. I spoke with a maintenance person and he indicated there is a problem with the door. Then suddenly he said he doesn't speak English. Yea, right. He just didn't want to continue the conversation speaking in English. Around the same time I run into the maintenance manager and mention this. Absolutely no follow up was given to me. Strike six. On floors 1,2, and 5 the hallway carpets are completely warn out with half moons in front of every room but only on the right side of the hallway. Don't know why that was only on one side of the hallway but really made the hotel look completely shabby! Strike seven. When I walked into the room on day one, the heat was off. Strike eight. I only got regular channels, not cable channels on the TV. Strike nine. I was going to rate this hotel beginning with a five rating but I am now at a -4 rating.
Now the pros:
I booked ahead of time and the rate of the room was rather affordable. Danielle at the restaurant was a pure delight. Her personality lifted my spirit and was very pleasant to talk with. I gave her a 25% tip. The room itself was clean but of course I had the do not disturb sign during my stay so they only had to clean the room upon check out. I like to leave the room with only one trash bag and the towels I used all together with a small tip for housekeeping. I know how hard their job is and I'm respectful of that. Last but not least, in both the front and side parking there was ice and no rock salt to melt the ice. I give this hotel a big fat zero.
Management should be SO much better beginning with the lies that they don't have safes for the guests. Upon check out the front desk attendant had the worst attitude possible. Just horrendous.
Sorry, but not sorry but I would NOT recommend this hotel. Honest review to unhonest management. I've waited to review this hotel in fear they would charge me for the $75 (or possibly more, who knows?) for the security deposit in retubation of this review.
