The attention received, facilities, cleanliness, location.
The 5 out of 5 rating is for the quality-price ratio; for the friendly treatment of the people who attended us, for the central location and for the general condition of this small and charming hotel with 7 rooms. It has simple rooms but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is very correct; served at the table and varied. If you are demanding, a 4 would also be correct but when the cleanliness, friendliness and general experience is good, a 5 is what we want to rate it with.

Very comfortable Hotel and for the price excellent
We always book with the Hotel direct, as you usually obtain a better deal, but for so reason booked via Booking.com. We booked a standard room which included breakfast for 69E, were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the suit, room 7. However the only downsize was, that after settling in, it was a room which permitted smoking. We thought this had been stopped many years ago. The smell of smoke which was off putting but after opening the windows and turning on the AC it subsided. So if this concerns you avoid room 7.
The Hotel generally was very modern, the room clean and comfortable with a super suize king bed. Internet worked efficiently, it was quiet and a stocked free mini bar. At reception we received a warm welcome and the young man was very helpful.
In the morning, we enjoyed a satisfying generous breakfast.
Overall very good friendly service, recommended. We will review the restaurant separately.

Small renovated hotel
Apparently, not many people visit Tarazona, but it is well worth a stop, and this hotel is well worth the effort to find. La Merced de la Concordia is just a few steps from Plaza Espana (the best place to park a car), and a thoroughly modern interior hides within its charmingly old facade. The hotel is a good starting point for self-guided walking tours of the town, and the single staff person--whose English was sufficient for our needs--helpfully oriented us to both the building and the areas nearby. An ample breakfast of meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, and pastries was included in our room rate, and in good weather, an enclosed patio beckons. We did not dine in the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that aspect. We stayed here only one night and did not familiarize with such amenities as minibar, meeting capacity, etc., but I think everyone in our party of two couples would definitely stay here again should another opportunity arise.

A classy place
This top notch renovation right in the heart of wonderful Tarazona offers very large rooms with a good setup (desk, wifi etc), a lovely bathroom and decent breakfast. The restaurant is a rung above most standard set menus, and their house wine is excellent. For an overnight in this attractive town, this is the place to stay.

modern soul in a medieval heart
Just in the heart of the medieval core of Tarazona lies this jewell of hotel in a renovated building. Next door to the Plaza de Espana and the stunning Jewish Quarter the hotel is a true finding. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The free refreshments at the minibar are welcome after a road trip. The management was extremely helpful and gracious treating guests as visiting honored guests.and volunteering information for getting around town.The free parking next door was an unexpected treat in such crowded quarters as was the coffee from the expresso machine at breakfast. Definitely a place to recommend.
