I had a lovely stay here! My room was clean and the staff were very kind. Dinner and breakfast from the pub was also very tasty.

NEVER AGAIN!

The furniture in the rooms are heavily worn, on the window frames is thick mold, it is very hot in the rooms, bathroom door had no handle anymore, you could only lean against. The toilet flushing did not work in both rooms. The water temperature could not be adjusted. Mold and lime in the bathroom, ancient fixtures.
Terrible air conditions due to the mold and the old dusty carpet. We woke up every morning with a big throat and stuffy nose.

Sadly in need of a complete refurbishment

Really depressing place which needs a complete refurb. Reception is manned by staff working in the bar. Whole place run down. Lift seals completely shot, tables in pub sticky. No separate restaurant or lounge for guests. The whole place was dispiriting.
In my room the bath had been sloppily sealed on many different occasions by the look of it.
On the plus side the bed was clean and comfortable.
The outside of the hotel and car park area is really grim.

Business meeting followed by lunch and coffee

Great and very quick service with a smile from Atlanta, food was good and coffee was nice, easy parking at the rear entrance.

Best value

Excellent value for money, stayed 1 night but the room was clean and very comfortable, great location and friendly staff.
