As a Diamond Member, Hilton Garden Visalia is a very nice and quite location even though the Hotel set right off HWY 198. I have stayed at this location numerous times with no issues.
From checking in/out, using the onsite gym/laundry room are very clean. We have used the pool facility once with plenty of clean/dry pool towels on site.
I have read other reviews good and bad. I can only rate my from our experiences at this location. The staff are very friendly or quick to any items we might need (coffee creamy, sugar or utensils.
It would be nice if the property would have more TV channels or provider in rooms, bar to stay open a little later since it is a "bar".
Thank you very much for the hospitality. Keep up the great job you do, since customer service industry isn't easy "and NO the customer isn't always right".

Okay stay

We stayed here on our way to Seqoia & Mings Canyon National Parks and it was a great location for that. Unfortunately they also now charge for parking I assume because of this which just seems unnecessary. Our room was okay - the beds were kind of hard, the shower water pressure was pathetic, and the timer in the bathroom light cut out on me so I finished my shower in the dark, lol. We didn’t buy anything at the restaurant so I can’t comment there. Overall, I might stay here again if I’m in the area, but I’d look for other options first.

Take All Your Belongings With You – No Help If You Forget Anything

Make sure you double- and triple-check your room before checking out. If you forget anything—especially something valuable—you can consider it lost forever. The hotel staff shows no willingness to assist in locating lost items. I had a very disappointing experience trying to recover my belongings, and their lack of response and accountability was shocking. I expected better from a Hilton property.

At Hilton Garden Inn Visalia, guest security and satisfaction are top priorities, and we take all lost item reports seriously. Upon receiving your missing item report, our team took immediate and thorough steps to assist, including reviewing our camera footage, ultimately concluding that your laptop was not at this hotel. It was non-conclusive that this device was left in your room and we immediately encouraged you to contact the authorities.
Unfortunately, during the course of our investigation, there was no clear information given to us about where within the hotel the item may have been left, and no indication it was seen on property after your departure. We also understand that your device later pinged at a location outside of our hotel.
While we are always committed to assisting our guests to the fullest extent possible, we must clarify that the hotel cannot assume responsibility for personal belongings left behind or lost. We strongly encourage all guests to double-check their rooms prior to checkout to help avoid these unfortunate situations.
We’re truly sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. While we respectfully disagree with the characterization that our team was unwilling to assist, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the extensive steps we took on your behalf.

Terrible service

Rooms were fine, but the service is terrible. I work a little later and stay at Hilton Garden Inn for my travels due to the restaurant on site that allows me to come back and enjoy a meal before turning in. To my surprise, the restaurant had closed early and I was unable to get service. After sitting down the waitress took her time getting over only to tell me that the kitchen was closed early tonight as the manager allows that when they aren’t busy. Not very helpful for those of us who work later. Then the staff started laughing at my situation. Very disrespectful. Of all the Hiltons I have stayed at, this is the only time I have ever experienced this level of dissatisfaction.

Brand new hotel with no car charger

The hotel was just fine overall, but for a brand-new property, I expected better attention to detail. There were several small discrepancies in the room, and the shower wasn’t clean, which was disappointing. The biggest downside is the lack of an electric car charger, something that should be standard for a new hotel. Instead, I had to drive to the nearby Wyndham property to charge my vehicle. Honestly, I should’ve just booked there in the first place.
