Excellent waterfront location in Bellagio. Convenient ferry connections to other towns and villages. Nice breakfast buffet included in room booking.

Nice old hotel building. Really clean, in the morning one of the staff cleaned the ceiling (!). Breakfast was good except for the coffee - both machine and filter was not good. Staff at breakfast was helpful and working, but reception was weirdly care to anything. When asking to store luggage, the guy didn’t even realise maybe he was supposed to help taking the luggage away. Just stood there, confused. And then again when picking it up, told us we could just «get it». From behind the counter... Under the staircase… Not once did it occur to him to give a hand or help retrieving luggage from a place we as guests should not be allowed to go freely. Seemed annoyed and confused that he had to appear from the back office when called. Also a guy, looked like the hotel manager maybe, held telephone interviews with loads of people’s CV’s floating, openly, in the hotel lobby. Isn’t that personal and maybe sensitive information? Just weird. Maybe that’s just Italian.

Comfortable and clean, dated decor, service was good, basic breakfast, beds were hard but the view was unparalleled.

Our room #7 was charming with a wonderful balcony with a view of the lake. Hotel staff was helpful and the breakfast was a nice amenity and very good. The shower was amazing after a long day of train travel carrying our backpack luggage. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Steps away from the ferry.

The only negative we have is the shower appears to have been an afterthought. 18” on two sides forming a right angel and 24” arch opening.
