Basic rooms
Convenient base 15 minutes from the airport, cute and with swimming pool overlooking the sea. Friendly owner and great price / performance ratio.
POSITION
Overlooking the sea of Mahébourg, it is within a 10-minute walk of some area restaurants convenient for the evening.
HOUSE
Room with sea view and private terrace, too bad the wind prevented us from enjoying it. Room and bathroom of right size. Bathroom without bidet and with shower with curtain.
SERVICES
The property offers a contact for excursions.
Internal parking that is enough for almost all guests.
The property is large, consisting of at least 2 buildings with a garden and swimming pool in between.
MEALS
Breakfast with bread, jam, slice of cake, banana.
The property also offers a menu for lunch, not dinner.

Great location but it's his only asset
Well placed but no welcome for us ... we arrived dropped off by the taxi(charming by the way) that drove us to our room.
The next day the manager could have come forward to us to pretend to welcome us.
I have also found with other customers that she is not in a hurry to give an opinion for a ride or advice.
We fell on election weekend and no concerns to help residents as many things were closed.
However, the ladies of the DPJ were charming and attentive.
PDJ correct but without more..
The room on the ground floor facing the sea is difficult to operate (no room to store the suitcases except on the sofa), the fridge is very noisy because has not been defrosted for a long time ....and the cabinet on the fridge patched with big tape is of the most beautiful effect....
We are usually not critical but it feels like we have not stayed in the same establishment as some people.. there are establishments nearby that have a sense of hospitality
Regarding the cleaning I doubt that the person passed in the bathroom because no shower product for 2 days....these are details but....
This room as well as the bathroom could use a makeover ... an old shower and a window that does not close.. .

Chillpill without hesitation
Superb complex on a human scale where are combined kindness of staff
cleanliness and comfort all in a postcard decor.
Beachfront , Possibility to Do Many Things to Do; Kayaking, Biking, Boat Trips, Excursions , Taxi , etc.

Nice B&B Guest House at a great price
We had the double room with balcony, which actually had garden and (somewhat obliquely from the balcony) sea view. The room is quite small and cramped but has everything you need. Too few outlets. The bathroom shows the age and simple character of the house. The whole complex is well maintained and decorated with love. On MRU the first place where we were not greeted exuberantly friendly and not supported with luggage.
We had used the location as a jumping off point for the early return (20min to the airport by car), but it was perfect.
Mahebourg itself is not so exciting now. A nice waterfront with a few offshore islands and views of Lionshead. Some restaurants within walking distance are fine. If we had had one more day we would have gone safely to Blue Bay for snorkeling.

Charming little very welcoming establishment with smiling, kind and helpful staff, who take care of their guests and provide good advice.
