Great find in centre of Lisbon
Excellent hotel in a great location . Good was really good and the roof top bar was a must to see the views . Easy walk to the five and tram stop outside the hotel. The decor was good and the hotel was very clean . Staff were friendly and helpful . The free drink was appreciated .

Visit to the heart of Lisbon
This hotel is extremely well situated right in the heart of of the City. There is easy access to the Metro less than a minute away. Staff were very welcoming and our room was clean and spacious. There is a beautiful rooftop bar/restaurant with fantastic views.

great return visit
2nd time in Lisbon , same hotel booked. Great experience. Handy to get to from metro after airport. we checked in and room was available earlier than usual time , at no extra cost. The room was on 4th floor and very quiet with an internal view. The room was a good size , with plenty of space for hanging clothes etc, bathroom was small but most are anywhere. Breakfast was busy but always got a table straight away, good selection of hot and cold buffet options . nice seating and bar area downstairs and fab rooftop bar. We had no problem getting a table at Rooftop bar , and the staff were very friendly , which is refreshingly different to lots of hotel roof bars that have staff that are aloof and elitist.
Very friendly staff for checkin/out and doormen for tips on where to go.
The famous Tram 28 has its 1st stop outside but is very busy to get on board, also hotel is very handy for buses and tourist hop on/off buses.
We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit to Lisbon.

Nice hotel
Very good hotel, lovely large rooms with large bathrooms, near public transport. Downsides are that although the breakfast was good and plentiful, the hot options (scrambled eggs, sausages etc) were barely luke warm, although you can order a freshly cooked omelette which was hot. The rooftop bar is very pleasant with great views but the drinks are very over priced - we ordered 2 sangrias - when they came they didn't look or taste like sangria - they were very weak but we were charged 14 euros each!! The drink was awful so we drank about a third of it and left the rest! Also, the hotel is overlooking Martin Moniz square which seems to be home to many vagrants and drug pushers in the evenings especially after dark - we felt very unsafe around this area at night. Rossio square is nearby and is the same too. String smell of urine everywhere in these squares. Upside is that you can get the 28 tram near the hotel - the tram stop is on the right side of the square as you exit the hotel. Nice trip and a great way to have a look around the city. All in all the hotel was very good but don't think we would stay there again due to the breakfast situation or the location in the city.

Living on Past Reputation
This hotel lives on a past reputation. The room smelled like raw sewage (as did several other rooms on the same floor). Could not open the closet door to access the safe without hitting the bed. The staff at the roof top bar were rude and insulting. The restaurant was very slow with incompetent staff but very good food.
