Lovely authentic Italian food
Probably one of the best aubergine parmigiana I ever tried ( including Italy), delicious pasta & pizza and lovely home-made bread. Service friendly & very personable.
It Felt like a little Italian community which I did not expect.
If you are in the area, is definetely worth a visit.

Boutique Villa house in Koh Samui
Pro : This Villa house belongs to Mr. Roberto Giacomelli, an Italian man who has been living in for more than 20 yrs. ThisThai house is among Coconut Orchard, beautiful with nice garden and swimming pool. Beach is 5 min driving,or 15 min walk.
Room is lovely, clean & boutique. Bathroom is spacious.Surrounding, there is only one Family mart,others there are nothing except coconut farm.At Villa,they provide Italian menu.
Con: Unfortunately, Smart TV in room cannot be watched as it relys on internet connection. We could not watch any channels. We ended up with our own mobile device.
All in all, This Villa is suitable who prefers quiet place, far away from bustling area.

A home away from home
The place is ran by a charming young Italian couple and a small few lovely local staff. The chef, Joe, gets a special mention cos he was just great.
This place is amazing value for money. By far the cheapest we paid in Thailand and got a lovely double room with an ensuite. There is a great restaurant on site that does Thai food and unreal pizza. We were there for 2 weeks and tried other places in walking distance that were nice too (Mum a Roy's for eg.) when we needed a change.
The owners provide everything, taxi cheaper than we could organise ourselves . Scooters or bikes if you want to rent them etc. There is an amazing beach about 7 min walk away.
We spent many peaceful evenings on the terrace having beer and chats. For from the busy filth of Chaweng.

A very pleasant stay in the less touristy part of the island!
WiFi in the room was excellent.
Villa Giacomelli also has its own small swimming pool and a very nice restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Overall a great 2 night stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Amazing value , the best sunset on the island !!
The Villa had a lovely restaurant and swimming pool.
The room was clean and spacious with air-conditioning and tea making facilities.
Set in a coconut plantation, this is a charming place is well worth a visit.
If you get a chance visit nearby i-talay beach resort ( just past the Intercontinental hotel) where everybody congregates to watch the absolutely fabulous sunset!!
It really doesn’t get any better.
