If you’re a light sleeper though, city never sleeps so expect some street noise and due to the historical building wood floors, some noise from within.
I’d recommend this place for sure.

I want to stay again.
This was my second trip to Istanbul, and the last time I stayed near the Blue Mosque in the Old City. Next, I wanted to stay at Kadıköy, so I researched a number of hotels and made Reservations here.
As it turns out, it was comfortable and I think I will stay here when I go to Istanbul again.
At the time of Reservation, I thought I would have included a message about the estimated arrival time so that I could keep my luggage until check-in because I would arrive early in the morning, but I may not have been able to send it. When I arrived at the hotel, it was locked and there was no answer no matter how many times I knocked on the door... (I guess there were no vacationers)
I was at a loss what to do with a big suitcase, but after about 10 to 15 minutes the door opened and a sleepy man (Owner?) came out from inside, and I was relieved to be able to keep my luggage.
I made a Reservation on agoda, but it was my first time on agoda, so I was worried about whether I could make a Reservation properly, so I sent a confirmation email about a month before my stay. We look forward to seeing you. was replied to (in English). I was surprised to hear back from you so quickly and I was very relieved.
(I should have told you about the arrival time again at that time.)
The room had a balcony on the top floor and smelled comfortable with wood. It's a bit small enough to spread a suitcase for two, but it's not a big problem because it basically just sleeps. The shower is not weak (it may sometimes be weak due to the balance with other rooms) and the toilet and sink are slightly smaller, but I think it is acceptable for international travel. The toilet also has a Turkish bidet.
The locks are retro and I was initially puzzled by the opening and closing, but once I got used to them, everything was fine.
As a location, it was convenient to walk from the port and close to downtown Kadıköy. There are also many shops nearby. It's on a hill, so you might want to avoid that.
There seems to be a camera at the entrance, but there are very few people at the front desk when I go out or come back, and we never had a time to leave the keys, so we kept them ourselves. So I stayed for four nights and they didn't clean me. I took it directly to the front desk to have my towel changed when I needed it, and I got additional toilet paper. That was enough for us. If you ask them, they will naturally clean it.
If you don't want a lot, I think it's a comfortable hotel to base your trip in.
