Modern rooms in an elegant, historic building on a timeless island.

We spent two delightful days here recently, and enjoyed every aspect of our stay on the island. The hotel, Les Maisons De Tatihou, consists of very modern, well appointed rooms in a elegant old building. Our room was very comfortable and enjoyable to spend time in. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and extremely responsive to our queries in advance of our stay. The gardens surrounding the hotel, the museum, the restaurant, the historic fort, and the island experience were all pleasurable and memorable. We hope to return.

Shame!

PMB, I had booked and paid a deposit to this property for dinner and one night.
Three days before, in Granville, my electric wheelchair broke down completely which forced me to cancel this stay to go home to Loire Atlantique to have it repaired.
During the telephone cancellation with the Inn he informed me that my deposit would not be returned to me as the request should have been made at least five days before the scheduled date of the Reservation.
Bravo, and thank you to this Inn for refusing to consider this case as "force majeure".
The other properties booked for this week-long trip have all agreed to refund me!

en quoi estimez-vous que le fait de respecter nos CGV est une honte ? Conditions que vous avez signées lors de votre réservation. Nous aurions d'ailleurs dû prélever la somme totale sachant que vous avez annulé à j-3. Ce que nous n'avons pas fait au vu de votre mésaventure.
Dans votre commentaire, vous omettez le fait que nous avons en effet dit à votre épouse que nous conservions les arrhes mais que nous lui avions également demandé si elle souhaitait reporter le séjour... Ce à quoi elle nous a répondu qu'elle ne savait pas quand votre fauteuil serait réparé (ce que nous comprenons). Vos arrhes sont toujours en attente chez nous et nous fermons l'hôtel le 3 novembre. Vous pouvez tout à fait nous contacter pour réserver.
Nous aurions apprécié que votre commentaire fut l’exacte reflet de nos échanges ce qui aurait évité de nous faire passer, auprès du public, pour ce nous ne sommes pas. Bien à vous,

Very nice place

A very nice structure of great comfort.
Very clean in general , good bedding and small touches very appreciable.
Beautiful overall setting and a very pleasant hotel team.
For a change of scenery and a search for tranquility in the evening, it is the ideal place.
