Perfect accommodation for city tour to Wertheim
In the second half of November two stays, reservation uncomplicated, although house well booked. Room and bathroom spacious, well maintained and clean. Breakfast offers a very good selection of cold and hot food and drinks, and fresh egg dishes can be prepared quickly on request. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Perfect for a stay in Wertheim, but the check-in process can be a bit fiddly outside of staff attendance hours...

Excellent
Arrived early enough to not need the automated log in system - secure parking nearby for bicycles. Smooth check in and a comfortable, well appointed, classic german businessman room. Nice central location in a beautiful village.

Perfect hotel for city tour to Wertheim and surroundings
Telephone reservation fast and uncomplicated, courteous service. For the fourth/last night was initially no longer available, we were put on waiting list, availability a few days before arrival then confirmed without further request on our part, which is great!
The house is located on the edge of the city center and is easy to reach, several parking spaces in front of the main entrance can be occupied on arrival/departure for unloading and loading. Free/cheap (5,- EUR/day) parking available in large numbers a few hundred meters away. Online check-in without staff may be a bit hooky in individual cases, but eventually works perfectly, with us even at midnight...
Access to the rooms with elevator centrally located in the building, our room (probably one of the largest) very spacious, as well as the bathroom with window, shower AND bathtub. Furnishing tasteful and high quality, very well maintained and maintained, no defects, absolutely nothing is missing.
Breakfast with a very extensive, varied buffet leaves nothing to be desired, fresh egg dishes, for example, are prepared quickly and at no additional cost on request. The check-out then just as quickly and easily.
Unconventional the charging issue with forgotten room card and bill change - we were not faced with it, may not really be lived that way..., and also the distinction between house and external breakfast guests.
Outstanding the kindness, courteousness and commitment of the staff in ALL areas, from administration, to breakfast service, to room service - in my thousands of hotel stays over almost 5 decades I have rarely experienced anything like it!
In summary: Hotel without fault and blame, quiet despite location on "main road", a few minutes to the centrally located market square, and all the sights, cafes, restaurants in a few minutes walking distance - not to mention the great "Africa-Ka" cocktail bar diagonally opposite, which however is only open for the weekend, a veritable pearl...

Short break in the Wertheimer Stuben
We were in Wertheim for a short break and booked the Wertheimer Stuben because they offer barrier-free rooms. The building has an elevator, but there are 3-4 steps to climb at the entrance. The rooms are good, nothing is missing, there were floor-level showers, and the breakfast was plentiful. The staff is nice. WiFi is free but not secured (no password), and can theoretically be used or overheard from outside. You can park just outside the door to get out or unload, but then you have to use public parking spaces. There are parking spaces very close by on the Main and Tauber for 4-5 EUR per 24 hours. The picturesque, historic city center can be reached on foot, and the market square is just 50-100m away. I found the hotel to be a good choice for around 100 EUR per night; most Wertheim hotels are in a similar price range.

Appreciation for the hotel guest is missing
The location of the hotel is good. The fact that there are no parking spaces is a bit annoying. We both found it unpleasant that there was sometimes no hot water when showering and even more so that breakfast is only available to hotel guests for a certain time and is then sold to external guests outside the hotel. So we had breakfast at 10:00 on a Sunday but were informed - in front of the external guests - that our time had expired and that we only had to pay €10 for breakfast, whereas external guests had to pay €23.50. We were allowed to stay, but we have never experienced such a procedure in a hotel before. Don't hotel guests deserve the utmost attention? After all, there was "Night Groove" in Wertheim that weekend and you don't get to bed before midnight.
