Superb

Very friendly staff, concierge and housekeeping team. Again Masjid Al Nawabi is literally seconds away from the hotel.
Housekeeping team is amazing they do everything they can to keep your rooms neat and tidy at all times.
Would definitely stay at Al Aqeeq Madinah again In Shaa Allah.

Do NOT book here. Poor service, poor everything.

Go elsewhere!
Spend your money elsewhere. The service is disgusting. We were a group of 17 (seventeen), and we had no help with our bags, so all 17 of us had to drag our bags upstairs.
Our bedroom was miniscule, but I could live with that; if it wasn't for the leaking bathroom, which put your life in jeopardy due to the slippery floor (plus it's gross). Even that, i could live with. Except that the phones were being upgraded, and no one thought to inform the guests. So if your floor was wet and you need towels, you had better be versed in telepathy to be able to communicate that you need towels for the floor.
The hotel doesn't have 4 restaurants like they claim. Just one cafeteria style place with underwhelming food. And since the phones dont work, there is no room service. Then the coffee shop downstairs. That's the 4 "restaurants"
The breakfast is underwhelming and has the feel of a hospital canteen. And mind you, they change their hours of operation daily. One day, you come downstairs and there are full tables and waiters running around. The next day the waiter is chasing you out (like literally telling you to leave) at 5.45am because they start at 6am. They will not lift a finger to help you before 6am. Mind you, there are plenty of people who are in ihram and are travelling early and need to get cracking. Nope. The hotel waitstaff will NOT help you. Go fish!
The Concierge and front desk staff are so clearly untrained. They chew gum (open mouthed- gross); they are incompetent; they are perhaps unused to dealing with women. That's my only guess for their attitude and behaviour. And they don't give a damn. We had asked a shop to drop off a parcel for us, and advised them of our room number etc. Nope. They can't accept.  Don't bother with your room getting cleaned. If you're lucky, it will be done. If not, enjoy your filthy room and wet floor towels. Unless you want to wait for ages to get a lift and go downstairs to be faced with gum-chewing staff at the front desk.
Today is my last day here and I can't wait to leave this place. Al-Aqeeq? More like Al-Akaka. There are better establishments nearby with better service. Spend your money there. Trust me.

Disappointing Service and Unresolved Issue Despite Paying Premium Price

I booked two rooms at this hotel for 7 days, paying SAR 20,550. Additionally, I purchased Sahoor coupons from the reception (coupon numbers 2017 and 2018), which were placed on my table. After room service, these coupons went missing—most likely discarded by the cleaner by mistake.
I approached the night duty manager (Aleej) to explain the situation and requested him to check with the restaurant to verify whether these coupons had been used. Unfortunately, he was rude and unhelpful, refusing to assist in any way.
The next day, I spoke to the day duty manager, Sarah, who was very polite and understanding. She assured me she would inform the evening duty manager to allow me access to the meals covered by the lost coupons. However, when I returned in the evening, the night duty manager told me he needed to confirm with Sarah. After an hour, he claimed that she had denied my request, contradicting what she had told me earlier.
Despite paying SAR 20,550, the hotel was unwilling to resolve a simple issue worth just SAR 260. Instead of verifying with the restaurant whether the coupons had been used, they dismissed my concern entirely.
I had booked directly from the hotel’s website to support them and avoid third-party fees, expecting better service. However, based on this experience, I strongly recommend booking through an agent or through booking.com who can assist in such matters, as the hotel staff were not willing to provide proper support.
Very disappointed with the service!

It could be improved.

The hotel is in a great location just a short walk to Masjid Nabawi which is very convenient for prayers. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the air conditioning had a bad smell which was unpleasant. If they fix this issue, it would be perfect

Just good

+ Location is strategic
+ Staff And Facility is standard hotel
+ Stay there only for around 14 hours so its just okay
+The Breakfast is quite complete and nice
-Room need renovation,looks dusty maybe because its quite old looks with the carpet
