Lovely hotel with spacious clean rooms and very friendly staff

I stayed here as a stop over when driving from the UK to Italy with my family (2 adults and 2 children). The staff were really helpful especially as we were delayed and didn’t arrive till late in the evening. They contacted me directly to ensure I had all the information I needed to checkin. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, large bathroom and very clean. The beer in the fridge was a lovely touch and very welcome after our long journey. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and very substantial. I wish we had been able to stay longer and try the bistro and more of the amazing beer but will definitely be back one day :)

Nice place, unfortunalliy no referrence for real-Hageland disches

Such a beautiful place, so beautifully located and beautifully renovated. Unfortunately, the dish in the Bistro did not live up to expectations. There are not many dishes on the menu, but at those prices you expect that something extra is made of it. I have the impression that a lot of work is put into "show" and "promotion" (cf. their own beers, the sponsorship of the Hageland cycling race, the online promotion of their so-called regional products,...) and too little in the quality of their Bistro. The service of the young gentlemen in the Bistro was very friendly and correct. They cannot make any adjustments based on my comments, the boss or manager can and hopefully does so urgently for his regional dishes.

Beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfast

We recently stayed here as it was close to a nearby venue we were attending for an event.
We stayed in a family room which had 2 floors with the children upstairs and the adults downstairs. The bathroom was beautiful with a sunken bath which was soooo relaxing! Would have been nice to have some way of hanging the shower head up so that I could have a shower too but I must admit I enjoyed having a relaxing bath for a change.
Tv in the downstairs section of the room. The king size bed was very comfortable. There were coffee pods to take to the downstairs coffee machine if you so desired.
There's a hairdryer in the bathroom and a nice big sink with his and hers sides.
I also noticed downstairs a sauna and hot tub although they weren't in use when we stayed but would be great if they were.
The only downside to our stay was the temperature in the room. I'm always hot but it was exceptionally hot in the children's section upstairs and pretty warm in ours too (even my husband commented and he doesn't mind the heat normally). We had all the windows open bit it made little difference.
Breakfast was fantastic. My children are very fussy and they both really enjoyed it. A great continental selection which set us up for the day.
We will most likely be back again next year and enjoyed our stay.

Noisy rooms

We stayed here for a management training. The rooms looked very nice and were clean. The only dissadvantage was the noise of the traffic on the busy road in front of the building.
The breakfast was OK with boiled eggs, jam (not self made) differt types of meat & cheese.
The lunch and diner was very good.
The surrounding has also nice hiking opportunities.

met een grote groep zowel bezoek aan brouwerij, eten en groot avondfeest, blijven slapen en ontbijt. Over de ganse lijn in orde, gaande van ruime parking, propere kamers, vriendelijke bediening, redelijke prijs...
