The hotel is very good The location is near the Shanghai station and the staff. Christina is very good at this hotel. Breakfast is delicious. I very like this hotel with my friends next time I will come to this hotel I will free you. The All-Star is very friendly.

location: convenient and easy to get to. Didn't take long to book a didi ride when im leaving the premises. Some of touristy spots are 10ish minutes ride away
Service: there were 3 service staff at the counter at any time. A manager by the name Christina was exceptionally helpful with directing me to the places I needed. Posting mail was convenient.
China post is 5mins away at the main junction.
Hotel cleanliness is top notched too

Chose this hotel for the close proximity to railway station. Within walking minutes.
However, check in to an extremely small room. With almost no ammenities.
Tight space for 2 of us with no luggage/walking space. Got to choose between opening our luggage or to give way to walking space
Request for a change of room and its more reasonable. However, "newly assigned" room is stench with sewerage every morning and or after we return for the day. Floor is also dusty with a few mud prints spotted. Refrigerator is present in new room but cant power on.
Hotel provides laundromat for free but its always in long queue. We have to return at 2pm to use the facility without a queue.
Extremely worrying point is that the hotel lift dont require card access so anyone can enter the levels. Many delivery guy appear along the corridor and it feels unsafe. Sound proofing was almost non existent and i can clearly hear room diagonally opposite having a crying child into late night
