The location is excellent - it is next to Munich railway station. And Lufthansa airport shuttle bus stop is literally outside the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. They loan me a kettle. And they allowed me to leave luggage. 
The room is ok. The lift is small but working well. There is hot water shower and the heating radiator worked well.  I saw a gym but I didn’t use it. 
I will definitely choose to stay at Amba again next time I visit Munich

Simple hotel but clean. Directly at Munich Central Station.

Very simple hotel right at Munich Central Station. Rooms are clean, heating works. The rooms facing the courtyard are quiet. The bathroom is relatively new, everything works. The water pressure in the shower and at the sink is excellent. Unfortunately, everything is quite tight. The bed was comfortable, the linen clean. There is no dust and no dirt. Here you can stay partly very cheaply, so it is a recommendation.

Tactical for 1 night

Tactical hotel for 1 night visiting Munich, has all the necessary services for overnight stay, average price, on our arrival friendly staff; the room had not been prepared but the damage was immediately remedied. The only flaw very expensive parking.

The hotel is very convenient to the Hauptbanhof, yet it was quiet at night, so sleep well. The people at the front desk were very accomplished, helpful, and polite. The hotel offers a very good start to the morning at the buffet breakfast for a reasonable fee. My room was clean and overlooked an open area between other buildings which allowed a good amount of light into the room. Also, the hotel is a 15-minute walk to the Marienplatz. (A pedestrian area near to the Fraenkische, Glockenspiel and the Hofbrauhaus.) There are plenty of restaurant's in the immediate area as well as those in the Marienplatz. My 5 night stay was most pleasant!

Very helpfull. Great at reception.
Only thing i dont like is they lock front door at night so u have to get strange looks at night if you go in and out few times. Felt like im beeing given the looks by my parents:)
