Ideal for an overnight

We were looking for an overnight stop close to Amiens. This place is convenient, has ample parking and is situated in a delightful village. The accommodation is in small apartments at the rear. Ours was just right, and even had an espresso machine. It was just right.

Lunch with friends!

As every year, we have lunch at the hostel on the last day of my mom’s visit to Albert.!
What a pleasure to find our restaurateurs and their excellent cuisine, friendly and courteous welcome, impeccable service and succulent dishes!

Top restaurant

Restaurant is great. Good choice in terms of both food and wine list. Very tasty meal. 4 courses with an intermediate dish. Super price quality. Friendly and attentive service. Hotel rooms are neat. Extremely clean.

A comfortable room, friendly owners and excellent dinner

The set menu for €25 was exceptional and the ambiance very nice. The room was quiet and very comfortable, a lovely stay! The owners are very obliging and friendly too. There was even an Australian flag outside our room. It is very handy if you are visiting the new Sir John Monash museum at Villers Bretonneux

Excellent stay in Ancre valley

We stayed for three nights - taking 2 rooms. The rooms are in a motel style block at the rear of the restaurant. The rooms are very nice and clean - comfortable beds with a nice bathroom with a good shower. Breakfast is available for 5 Euro extra - it’s certainly filling with a pastry, bread and jam on a tray with a capsule for the Bosch coffee machine in the room. Each room has a table and chairs for breakfast and chairs for sitting outside if you wish.
We ate in the restaurant on one night - it was gastronomic excellence! Fabrice is in the kitchen - he has lovely menu at 25 Euro each for 4 courses. He and Marie both speak excellent English and can explain the menu easily. The food was great and it was a lovely evening. You need to book for Friday or Saturday nights as the restaurant is very popular!
I’ll be going back when time allows...
