Delicious food with a great view

We stopped here with my group of 12 people after we had seen some things near the lake. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! I had the curry vegetable soup, very good. As we were a big group, the food service was a little slow. However everything was made to order, and we enjoyed dining in the beautiful scenery up there.

Fantastic views, gardens staff and cuisine

We couldn’t of been happier with the selection, small boutique style hotel in the mountains. The staff are absolutely wonderful and the cooking is exceptional, especially considering the remote location. It’s lovely to have a fireplace in the room as well and the rooms are very spacious and private.

Good hostel nice clean with the best brekfast views. Good food nice service. Quaet calm with activites like watterfall views and walking froout jungle. Big nice leaks and other activites. Bears cocktail and desserts.

Best Stay near Tamblingan Lake

Tamblingan Lake is one of the sacred and serene attraction in Bali. If you are looking for places to stay in order to get close to this attraction, then this stay is a good place to opt for!
Terrace du Lac is a garden concept stay where you will see a variety of planting planted closely to the walkway, making the visitor feels like a country home experience.
The facilities is good enough to provide a good stay. The in house kitchen also prepared some nice food to try since there is not much choice of restaurant nearby. The stat itself is only 15 minutes regular walk to the lake.
The surrounding environment is a highland landscape where the cool breeze can be feel at most of the time. The staff is very helpful and are able to speak a good English language.
Few of the things that the hotel can improve in, the toilet floor trap which caused water to clogged during shower, spider webs can be seen on the furniture and ceiling, the mattress is too soft for those elderly and people with spine or back pain.
Overall stay was good and worthy.

Hidden Gem!

I went to Terrasse du Lac on the suggestion of a friend and am so glad I did. I had not expected to find a place like this a bit off the beaten track, but oh so worth it.
Great rooms, large, well appointed and with a wood fire! The staff Lucy and her team were fabulous, easy to communicate with and so helpful. A great place to base in for a bit of hiking, round Lake Tambingan, and further.
And the restaurant, overlooking the lake great food and some of the health drinks!! Tip, it is a popular place with day trippers for lunch so get in early or leave till later. Well done!
