Our Calabrian family

Staying at the Rex for us is like visiting family in Calabria.We went back for the 3 consecutive year, because from the first moment we appreciated the kindness, patience and education not only of Angelo and Imma, but also of all the staff who work in the hotel.Central location, very close to the sea, simple but always spotless rooms, homemade cuisine and abundant breakfast to dinner, free bike service among the strengths of this hotel, to which I can not add the beautiful bond that has been created between our children and Angelo, Imma, Ariadne and Samuele.See you soon, we still have to grind km with our sup to explore the wonderful beaches of the area

Serene and relaxing holiday

We returned for the second consecutive year because we had a great time. The Owner, Mr. Angelo is a kind, helpful and welcoming person as well as all the staff who have been able to create a nice serene and family atmosphere. The property has 19 rooms with a lovely outdoor space and a terrace used as a solarium. Great food offered for breakfast lunch and dinner with an excellent alternation between meat and fish with two theme nights. The hotel offers much more than a 3 star service such as sky in the room and free bike rental, it is well maintained and well cared for the cleaning of both the rooms and the common areas. It is located a few meters from the sea and is in the center of the city.

Stay to repeat!

I stayed at this hotel the last week of August with friends. It is a quiet place really 4 steps from the sea. In the heart of downtown and with all amenities within walking distance. Excellent location also to reach nearby areas (Maratea, San Nicola Arcella, Diamante)
Already when I spoke to the manager
Angelo on the phone seemed a kind and helpful person and during the stay my first impressions were confirmed. Angelo and the rest of the staff always made themselves available.
The hotel has only 19 rooms.
The decor is a bit dated but there is cleanliness both in the common areas and in the rooms.
The food was good. In the morning at breakfast there were several pies and doughnuts, some cold cuts and cheeses as well as the classic packaged things. For dinner we had dishes with right portions. Good variety between meat and fish. Good food but not overly seasoned. Great for not getting too heavy.
Fair price. I hope to return as soon as possible to enjoy the beautiful sea as well as the places that I could not see this year!

Hotel RElaX

Great holtel in the center of Praia, if only I could I would stay there every week. Kindness and cleanliness are the masters. Congratulations to Mr. Angelo, Imma and all the staff. An affectionate greeting to dear Biagio and Roberta ready to meet any culinary need.

A very pleasant holiday

It was a very pleasant holiday, we stayed as a couple for a week in August. The manager and staff are very kind and hospitable. Clean hotel and great and plentiful food (there were also two theme dinners). We really felt like family.
