The rooms were huge at first we were offered room on the ground floor which was huge but we didn't like it as it was too big for us. We asked to change the room. The AC's weren't working and it was a bit hot for us. The only problem was they didn't clean the room for the entire 4 day stay and we were only given 2 toilet paper rolls. We had to ask for another one. The room on 8th floor was squeaky clean, it had a kitchen as well.

This is a nice hotel in an easily accessible location.
All the staff but especially reception were welcoming, very helpful and professional.
The apartment was a good size, clean and in good condition. Higher floors have a view to the harbour which I later realised was just 15 minutes walk away. 30 minutes to the terminal.
Although near the university, it was fairly quiet.
The only disappointment was breakfast. The selection wasn’t really to my taste.

the apartment was spacious with all the facilities and very near bus stops( X1 & X2) to the airport and other places like Valletta. the rooms were absolutely quiet without any outside or inside noise.the double glazing was of top quality and the rooms had individual a/c. kitchen was functional.one can very easily reach the absolutely worth seeing Mdina old city from the hotel by taking bus 31,31,238 and go to Sptar-1 and then take from there either 181 or 182. there are many buses directly going to Valletta also. you can book this appt hotel without any other thought.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, staff in reception were super friendly and helpful especially Anita . Excellent bar and restaurant about 100 yards away. Bus service also 2 minutes walk so easy to go places

My husband took ill while we were on a cruise. He was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital ER. He didn’t get a room until 2:30am. I booked for that day with no idea if they could get me in early so I could sleep because I had been up 24+ hours.
Although a room wasn’t readily available, someone checked out early. They got housekeeping in right away to clean. I was able to eat breakfast and get to my room and briefly sleep.
Being in a strange country, where I knew no one, I had to rely on kindness from strangers. The people at the front desk were more than kind. They were outstanding! I felt safe. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was $11.00/day. It was excellent. So many food choices!
And even better, was Bistro 77, the restaurant that was connected to their lobby.
We had been on our 1st cruise where the food was supposed to be “the best.” But that food couldn’t hold a candle to the food at Bistro 77.
I can’t thank the staff enough for their care. As it turns out, my husband was discharged after 2 days. He had a mini stroke. Mater Dei Hospital was extremely thorough.
