Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay: A Great Experience
Three special mentions for particularly helpful staff: Houda in the restaurant was hugely attentive and welcoming. The concierge team were also great, particularly El Brahim and Abdelkbir.
The hotel was spotless and it appeared that a great effort was made to achieve a high standard in this regard.
The live music provided in the main lounge each evening was also very relaxing and enjoyable.
If the hotel had downsides, there are three things I would mention: the first is the location. It is on the promenade but at the southern end of the resort and it is quite a walk to restaurants and shops, while Agadir town centre is further away. Second, our bedroom was a superior double. It was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was dated and together with the plumbing was in need of some refurbishment. Finally, a lovely large swimming pool but hardly used (see photos taken early afternoon on a weekday) - the reason being is that for many people it was too cold - not for someone from Scotland mind you. Whenever I swam in it, there was only 2 or 3 other swimmers, at most.
A wonderful experience in a lovely hotel with great folks looking after us. Would certainly recommend, bearing in mind the point about location above.

Amazing @
The decor is superb and the location is brilliant. The staff are amazing, particularly Fatima and Younnes for being super attentive.
From arrival to departure we were looked after brilliantly. The restaurant staff worked so hard and quickly took away plates etc, and I witnessed on a number of occasions the staff assisting guests with carrying food items, asking guests if they needed anything and just being helpful and friendly.
The quality, choice of food and the presentation was great... definitely spoilt for choice. Certainly something for everyone.
Will 100% stay here again!

Staff are awesome and very friendly.
Very close to the beach and 10 minutes drive from agadir bay.
The only downside is that the gym is very small and has limited equipment. And the cost internally for everything was very expensive.
