Wonderful time at Be Live
Lovely hotel, very clean. Rooms modern, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Bottle of water provided every day.
Pool exceptionally clean, cleaned every morning. Only downside you can’t swim before 9am, which I like an early morning swim.
Food good, breakfast is standard all inclusive fare. Lots of Moroccan dishes and anyone who is a fussy eater would probably struggle. Lovely salad bar and desserts were delicious.
Coffee is dreadful!
Alcohol is not very good, which is often typical of all inclusive. Red and rose wine ok. White paint stripper. Cocktails not true ones, but you can’t have everything. Beer cold and refreshing!
Staff friendly and helpful.
Shuttle bus to Marrakesh is useful. Taxi costs 20 dirham one way.
I travelled solo and felt very safe in the hotel and in Marrakesh.
Tips do a walking tour of Marrakesh to initial get your bearings. Then use google maps for further trips
Recommend seeing Secret Garden, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef, Majorelle Gardens.
Moroccan cooking class.
Hot air ballon flight over Atlas Mountains.
Overall a memorable trip and I would recommend this hotel for couples, families and solo travellers.

Very Freindly Hotel
We loved the reception staff, friendly and explained all very thoroughly! Ordered taxis, changed money, gave us recommendations etc. could not fault.
Room was lovely, poolside, our own sun loungers, spotlessly clean. The only fault is the partitioned wall from bedroom to bathroom, a huge glass window at top, so when getting out at night and switching light on in bathroom, disturbed my husband who was sleeping! Silly design really.
Restaurant was more like a cafeteria, very large space, wonderful buffet, all very fresh food, salads, fresh prawns, meats, pasta, tagines,so many vegetables, also some food for those not so adventurous with food, burgers, chips, pizza! Something for everyone!
The staff everywhere were wonderful, cannot praise enough!
Even the manager got a cake with a candle and sang to a guest whom I mentioned it was his birthday. That was such a lovely thing to do.
The restaurant, where you can go once, was ok, liked the food in buffet better.
I enjoyed the Rose and white wine, red wasn’t so good! Husband enjoyed the beer!
My only gripe was music, pounding all day, so loud! But that’s my opinion.
The guy in the shop was very helpful and sold us goods at great prices.
Looked over the other Be live hotel, was amazing, 5 star. But staff in ours were a lot friendlier!
We enjoyed our holiday and would like to thank everyone.

Good for a few days away
Booked a last minute trip to get some sun.
Hotel is quite small including the pool but it was nice to have everything so close.
We stayed in a duplex which had 2 sofa beds downstairs and a king upstairs. The king was very comfy but the sofa beds were quite hard. There are also 2 bathrooms.
There is an a la carte restaurant that you can book once if staying more than 4 days that was ok. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was small but we managed to always find something we liked. There is a pool snack bar which does quite a bit of food throught the day which was good.
There are only 3 cocktails they do which were included. There is a list on the wall.
They have some daily activities listed but while we were there , they didnt do many of them, although my family did do archery everyday with Chinwi . He was great and made it a lot of fun.
The evening entertainment wasn't great and needs improving.
At check in you need to pay a room tax , a room security deposit plus £20 returnable for each towel.
With the exception of reception staff , everyone was very friendly and helpful.
There is a shuttle bus to the medina but we took a taxi which was only 150 Dirhams.

Good hotel, bad location
Hotel was very clean with housekeeping coming daily. All staff very helpful including reception staff, waiters, bar staff, housekeeping etc. Tarik from the lobby bar very friendly all the time. Had kids playground and pool however the water in the kids pool was extremely cold so could not use.
Mainly British and French people staying here.
Breakfast was very good. Had a variety of food for lunch and dinner but I wasn't very fond of it. Snack bar had better food I would say.
I can't comment on entertainment as i never attended the evening shows, however some days the music was so loud and on until very late so could not go to sleep.
The downside of the hotel is the location. It is in the middle of nowhere and the main town is a 20minute drive. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus service and taxi costs about 150 dirhams which is about 12 pounds one way.
Overall can't fault the hotel, however I would not return purely because of the location.

Ok but could not go back
On arrival lobby looked good , checking in went ok , there is a deposit of £40 per room and a tourist tax of between £1 - £1.20 per person per night ( children under 12 free) . Paid deposit for room in sterling of which was returned within 30 minutes of handing room keycards back.
I thought the variety of food in the restaurant break,lunch,dinner and snack bar was quite good as two quite fussy children didn't have a problem finding something to eat.
Room was good , beds comfortable, TV, fridge , free bottled water left in room whenever needed. Bedding and towels changed more than enough times during stay.
Shower/ toilet in room 1028 has a sever sewage problem , with a stench seeping through the floor, you will be expected to report the smell to reception every 3/4 hours to have a cleaner or technician to come clean the floor with detergents to deaden the smell which will return. After 5 days/ nights of this routine and when another room becomes availible you will be moved to a room which you would have thought you would of got when you first arrived on holiday.
Didn't seem like much of a holiday having spent so much time reporting the sewage problem for up to 5 days and if the guests wellbeing and enjoyment of the holiday is the main priority then why let out room 1028.
