Excellent hotel with its location and delicious feasts
Neat and clean rooms with wash room, chilled air-conditioning with good room service.
Internet working, staff is cooperative. Finest location beside Jhelum river.
Delicious meals with all kind of dishes, like BarbeQ, Kashmiri , Chinese and sea food with reasonable rates.

A bit of a disappointment
The situation is good but there must be better options in town.

Not worth Staying
I left balakot hotel in morning and reached there with in one and half hours, my very first disappointment was hotel location which was next to petrol pump, river view was also not so good as dust were all around, when i entered in hotel and reached to receptionist, first she told me that she doesnt hv any room available and when i reminded her that i called you from balakot then she said we have only one delux and one standard room available but on my surprise she told me that she will not allow more than one mattress in delux room, but at the other hand she didnt have any problem putting two mattress in standard room ,i did not get this logic, i was travelling with my four kids age 12,8,5,and 3, so i wanted two mattress for elder kids.
First, this lady trapped me by saying on phone that its off season, given me idea that hotel is not full but when i reached there she started putting restriction one by one, when i saw changing her statements so quickly i also got worried and asked about internet she made me completely shocked by telling me that they dont have good internet in their hotel and if there will be rain, there will be no internet , i asked about phone data 4G,she said 4G working good here,so i thought no problem i will stay here and will use my phone data, but when i asked about food delivery in room ,she said we dont serve at room as kids spill tea and other drink at bed sheet, i understood this point but the way she said was completely in insulting way, girl on reception was completely ill mannered and not trained for this job what ever she was replying or responding, she was doing it without considering hotel reputation, even then i agreed and asked in that case where can we have food she replied right infront of main reception, i was like scratching my head that time, i was ready to pay approx 8-10k and in return i was getting this, by the way she was also charging very high for extra mattress , when i showed my dissatisfaction she replied u can also have food in restaurants, i went there to check bur it was dam cold,and smelly, when i was going to check restaurant high volume music was going on in the lawn for some function, finally i decided not to stay in that hotel, finally when i was in hotels parking and checked my both jazz and telenor sim, no data connection were available, very weak signals were appearing for few second and then disappearing
In my opinion as per condition and location this hotel does not deserve more than 4500 rupees including everything , so i would not suggest any one to stay in this hotel, if some one has to stay then i would prefer them to stay in balakot which is very near good scenery and charge very less with much more facilities with this hotel, hotel cordillera resort is one best option
