Amazing

Legacy Hotel Cascais was everything we could’ve asked for and more. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, personal, and top-tier. We were greeted by “Super Mario,” who kindly helped with our bags and set the tone for a great stay. At the front desk, Cátia welcomed us with a smile and even let us know our room was ready for early check-in—such a lovely surprise!
The check-in process was smooth and friendly, and we immediately felt at ease. Then we stepped into our room on the fifth floor facing the ocean, and our jaws dropped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the balcony was the perfect spot to take it all in. The room itself, while not huge, was incredibly well-designed and thoughtfully laid out. Every detail felt intentional—from the wooden key cards (so cool!) to the overall vibe of the space.
Housekeeping gets a solid 9/10 from us. Our room was spotless, and we even noticed that they vacuumed the balcony, which is something so many places overlook. One day, we returned around 2 PM and saw the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, but a quick WhatsApp message to the front desk had it sorted immediately. While we relaxed at the pool, the staff cleaned everything quickly and efficiently.
The location is another huge plus—just a 4-minute walk from the beach and close to everything we needed. The entire stay felt relaxed, luxurious, and comfortable. We truly felt like we had a personal concierge experience through their WhatsApp communication.
We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff at checkout, especially Thomas, who took time to recommend places to visit in Lisbon and helped us get our Bolt ride arranged—he wasn’t rushed at all, just genuinely kind.
If you’re thinking of staying here, we definitely recommend splurging for a 4th or 5th floor ocean-facing room—those views are 100% worth it. The second-floor balconies face the pool at eye level, so it felt a bit awkward when people walked by.
This was hands down our favorite stay in Portugal—best service, best hospitality, most comfort. We’d absolutely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous hotel with fabulous staff

This is a perfectly located hotel just ten minutes walk out of the centre of Cascais (a very easy walk at that). We were impressed by how welcoming and friendly the staff were, how chic the decor is (the bar and restaurant in particular are gorgeous) and how lovely the breakfast offering is. Both the outdoor and indoor pools are perfect for the size of the hotel and nowhere ever felt too busy. The bedroom was dark and quiet and felt luxurious. Our only minor criticisms are that 1) staff very infrequently visit the pool area to offer drinks so you end up having to go down to the bar yourself and 2) you only get water in the rooms on your first night. However, we would without question stay here on our next visit as it makes for a lovely stay

Excellent stay

Super clean and comfortable room, super friendly staff. The location is ideal to walk to downtown and is quiet. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet each morning and found it perfect. The only trouble we had was finding the turn into the hotel entrance (Uber also had this issue).

Great hotel in a good location - All the facilities you need!

Hotel is modern but Chic. Really lovely hotel with execptionally friendly staff.
The reception staff were great, both before we arrived to arrange a transfer for us, but also during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for them. Sara on our arrival was delightful and couldn't have welcomed us with a warmer smile.
Mario was great at helping us with our bags and sorting rooms, etc.! Always remembered our names and who we all were so a lovely skill to have and made us all feel very welcoming.
The hotel rooms were good sized with modern amenities. Had a Sea view with balcony and was just expectionally pleasant. Beds were comfy and good pillow in the room.
Used the spa facilities a few times. They're small but perfectly formed. Only had 4 beds by the pool area but was nice and quiet. Didn't have any treatments, but heard good things from others who had. Outside there is a separate pool with a good number of beds and is a proper sun trap! The outdoor Pool was unheated so just very refreshing!
The bar area was lovely and welcoming and very relaxed, well until we appeared!
Breakfast was a buffet but they had an additionl 'Egg's menu so ontop of normal continetal and cooked options, could also get freshly made Omlettes, Poached, Boiled eggs, etc. Plenty of food, drink and options and the Recovery shots were needed!
Overall the hotel was lovely, it's in a great location as only 5-10 minutes walk to the main area and bars, restaurants, etc. down by the harbour.
Really welcoming hotel and stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Hotel room and breakfast was great. Charging for extra creamer for coffee in the room was a bit of a hassle as there was only two small pods provided.
