Great hotel , great welcoming staf ( very helful ) , tasteful food based in italian menu
I was only two nights at this hotel and was very good .
The room was quiet and decorated with class.
The location it near the center and one of the zones where most of young people stay called Blloku.

Disappointing stay but I think the hotel has alot of potential
We must have come at the wrong time because the aircon did not work in our room making for a very uncomfortable stay, the room also had some mould in the bathroom and stained walls from old aircon unit. Overall I think it probably is nice if you’re given a good room and the aircon would work! Overall short walk into town etc and some nice places around. Staff friendly enough!

Christmas celebrations with sons in Tirana
Great hotel in Tirana…..but
The staff is amazing, the rooms as well. Located in the middle of ❤️ of Tirana.
Room no 7 a little more expensive but it's worth it. We also had rooms no. 9 and 10, too
Breakfast was ok. So we come to but…… Since I read about that guests have previously been claimed City tax / Tourist tax, I checked with Booking who said that the price you get through them includes everything, even any taxes.
A few weeks before our stay I email the hotel to confirm that we really will as booked and want the rooms we have chosen earlier, 2 doublebed rooms
1 twobeds Deluxe, then get in response that it is ok. One week before ank. I inform them that we will arrive on the evening of Dec. 22, 2024. I get an e-mail that it's ok but I will have to pay 2 EUR / person on the night in tourist tax, 240 EUR in total.
Ignoring the email but writing to Bookings customer service asking them to inform the hotel that the tax is included in the price I received so that I do not have to argue with them at the hotel.
What's going on??? The porter asks me to pay but that price is 240 more than what I got before The porter looks ashamed but asks me to talk to Management on the phone . Then we get the rooms, but, I didn't get what I booked and now paid for. The porter said it would work out the next day.
So disappointed because I had to fight and get angry, ruined the beginning of my son's stay in Tirana.

NO HEAT. NO HOT WATER.
Review of Classic Hotel---Tirana, Albania
There is a serious problem at Classic Hotel in Tirana regarding the heating and hot water systems. After 10 days in Room 203, spanning Feb. 4-14, 2023, I am surmising that both systems need to be entirely replaced, and that retro-fitting them into the existing building structure is going to be a major undertaking---possibly requiring the hotel to be closed for several months.
Most of the hotel guest rooms were empty during my stay. It would seem that all of the locals know that there is NO HEAT, and NO HOT WATER in the hotel rooms. It's only the out-of-towners that get caught unaware. If you scan back through the guest reviews from a year ago (in Booking.com), you can see clearly that this is not a new problem.
In fairness, I need to acknowledge that the WiFi was working well, and so was the elevator---these had not been working well on my only previous visit November 3-8, 2022. Housekeeping has always been good.
The hotel might represent an interesting investment opportunity for the right developer. The location is nice, and the building, otherwise, has a lot of nice features. Check to see whether there are bank debts and liens on the property---and you may be able to force a buy-out at an attractive price.
