Just...
... the hammer. It's a little more expensive, but really worth every buck. And although there is some ecological absolute nonsense, I really like to recommend this gem. Warm welcome with welcome drink, very friendly service, all maintained with much love and dedication. Lovely, beautiful, clean and... what I experienced for the first time... it all worked. Even the fully automatic toilet. And in the middle of the jungle.

A little piece of heaven? Not exactly.
I spent 2 nights at this property and I have to say that upon arrival I was amazed by the place and the room. Let me start with the positives: The outside of the property is beautiful and very relaxing, the village of Mae Kampong can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and the staff is friendly, the breakfast is original (personal stove to toast. When I was amazed, I realized that when someone took a bath upstairs, my room was unfounded because of a plumbing problem. The shower of the toilet had a leak also and the floor was permanently wet, the finishes of the room are perplexing, the aquarium in the room with poor fish (aquarium constantly lit: the fish are exhausted by the way one of them was dying when I left) the cold in the room (no more than 17 degrees) with air conditioning supposed to blow hot but not working. It's quite at this price to be cold and not have extra heating even though the staff gave me a down extra, the staff does not speak a word of English, the decor of the toilet for visitors was in very bad taste (disco light, hanging pigskin, terrifying doll, koi carp pool far too small for so many fish. Random Wifi (more available in the bathroom) It's a bit of a disappointment at this price (more than 100 euros a night (and it can go up a lot more, which is huge for Thailand) the property does not keep its promises of luxurious place.

Nice peaceful place
Great stay here in the mountains outside of Chiang Mai. Love the chill atmosphere of the property. The room was spacious and comfortable. The meals cooked on-site were tasty and filling. Wi-fi was plenty fast. It is a nice retreat for a few days outside of Chiang Mai.

Above any expectations!
This place is much better than you can ever think! From the road it looks regular, but you won't believe your eyes on how it really looks. The territory and rooms as well. It is blended into the forest and the stream that goes through this place.
The staff is nice and helpful. They did everything to make us fell at home.
It's noticeable that people created this place with taste and attention to details. The amount of amenities and stuff they put in the rooms is insane. There is an aquarium with little fish, a bunch of board games, projector, and even a Nintendo to enjoy some games. That was my favorite one. There were some many interesting things I don't even remember all of them.
The territory is well maintained, beautiful and peaceful. There are many beautiful birds that come to the stream in the morning. It's very close to the Mae Kampong itself, so it's possible just to have a walk to reach it. If you're on the bike or a car then it will be much easier to move around the area, as it has a lot to offer. Many cafes, waterfalls, streams, viewpoints, you name it.
We had a shabu dinner and breakfast in the hotel, it was superb. It can be delivered to your room, so enjoying the food beside the stream is even better. There are several campfire spots there, so you can roast marshmallows there or some BBQs, as there is a small kitchen beside one of the campfires.
I'm not a huge fan of bathtubs and saunas, but here I tried and didn't regret. There was an outdoor bathtub, perfect to relax. Sauna is decent as well, sauna lovers will be pleased for sure.
By the way, the projector I mentioned before has a Netflix account signed in so you can watch any movie in minutes.
I've been to many different places around Chiang Mai and other parts of northern Thailand, and Woo Ma Ca Moo is definitely the one to remember.
