Has Some Good Points
large building with some good facilities. When we actually arrived and walked up to the reception desk the young man there did not smile or greet us. He took the paper
copy of the booking from us and scrutinized it, as if he was looking to find something
wrong with it. After eventually booking in I walk over to a drink dispenser and helped
myself and my partner to a drink, but no one actually offered us a drink as we arrived. The guy taking our luggage was very friendly and the room was very large
and spacious. We enjoyed using the pool every day and there was an indoor and outdoor shower available with free towels. The guy on the desk here was very pleasant, although after the first day we did not see anyone again on the desk.
The house keeping was good, but on the second day they came at 16.15 and we had just returned from being out all day, so it could not be done. The breakfast choice was huge and all those waiting on were very pleasant and helpful, (full marks here). The location of the hotel is good, very central. My only big criticism was that because we went during the Ramadan Festival there were loud explosive fireworks going off just outside the hotel for a few hours every night and they were very, very loud and this stopped us sleeping. We did enjoy the Ramadan Festival and we particularly liked going round the Ramadan food market in the evening, but hotel guests do have to sleep.
